Privileges User Guide

To use SAP Privileges (the macOS solution that ITS uses for LAP access):

Search for and launch Privileges on your Mac (icon should look like a green padlock)
When prompted, either select a reason for usage from the dropdown, or type in the reason, then hit request privileges
Enter the password for your account

After 20 minutes, there will be a prompt to either extend, or remove privileges if they are no longer needed. There is not any limit to how many times you can either extend, or request privileges in any given timeframe.
